The children’s ward of Sakakibara Memorial Hospital. The director of the hospital wanted to create a facility where convalescent children could have a pleasant time, so the ward was designed to be a safe and colorful space with wooden furniture and wallpaper with sky motifs. The hospital was decorated with delightful and powerful paintings by atelier Eleman Prezan, and children’s cheerful drawings on the ceiling, which can be seen from the stretcher when going to surgery.
