At the fourth edition of Everybody’s Chair NEXT, Hisae Igarashi will delve into the excellence and influential relationship of “Tulip and Nor’s Chair” in the form of a lecture with architect Naoki Terada.

The exhibition “Everybody’s Chair: Musashino Art University Museum’s Chair Collection” held in the summer of 2022 was an exhibition that traced the history of modern chair design while visitors sat in the Musashino Art University Museum’s chair collection. In response to the great response to the exhibition, we are holding a sequel to the first one, with a different venue and exhibition style.
In this series, entitled “Everyone’s Chair NEXT,” we will focus on a chair that has had a great impact on later generations of chairs, and together with Naoki Terada, the exhibition supervisor, we will delve into its excellence and influence in the form of a lecture.
