This project is a collaboration with craftsmen of the traditional Shizuoka craft of “Hikimono”. The surface of the wood, which is turned on a lathe, cut and polished, is extremely smooth and has a rich expression. The “kuri” (a protrusion that looks like a thorn), “mochi” (a round rice cake), and “koma” (a spinning top that looks like a piece) were designed under the theme of “a shape you can’t help but want to touch.
