The theme of the preschool building was “a space where children can think for themselves and stimulate their imagination” and “a preschool that is like a museum. Dark gray boxes were placed in each room to blend in with the piano. The color of the classrooms and the shape of the wooden crates were changed for each grade level so that the children could identify their class. The lunch tables were made square or round, or connected to form a wave shape, so that the space could be changed according to use and number of children.
